Just to remind all of you that from 1st September, all Locum doctors must use their Locum Chop with their MPM no. Failure to do so ,the concern doctors will not be given any locum slots. This is an ISO requirement

For your information the your Locum income is taxable. So please declare it . Dont be surprise , those who didnt declare the locum amount might get a letter from the income tax office asking us to pay back the differences.

Can we write the name, no MPM....etc (handwritten) instead of using chop??
There have also been cases of newly registered MO who register in order to give their slots to other MO (meaning the MO receiving the slots will have 4 slots ; 2 from own and 2 from others)

Thank you for the information. We trust the doctors and try our best to give all atleast 2 slots. If doctors want to cheat I think It is not good. I prefer to give to the doctors who are sincere the extra slots.
All must do their own slots. I will monitor this month locum list and here after. Regarding the chop,You can do so but you must chop the selepas waktu pejabat on the MC book and the copy.

Is it true that during the 9-2pm slot, the doctors during that slot will see patients that register until 1.45pm so that the doctors can clear off all the cards before 2pm??

Few of you didnt come for the MO meeting which we had last month.
It was discussed in the meeting. As the number of patients are most in the morning shift we decided that the shift should stop at 1.45pm and the MO must clear their cases before leaving so that it will not burden the other shift MO.
To answer Dr. Tiow CA query. You can get a replacement within the Mo's in the Locum slots of that month and not ask someone who had not registered with us. If you have problem you can contact me. There many occassion that the dr gets someone to replace but the person doesnt turn up which makes me go crazy searching for MO to do the slot.
If you all have any problem please dont hesitate to contact me.
If anyone have any suggest do inform us. We shall look into it.

It seems that all the staff in locum OPD is still unaware of the things discussed in the meeting. It seems that they are still sending the cards that are registered after 1.45pm to the 9-2pm slot doctors.
It is hoped that they will be informed about the new changes.

All the claims must be given to the ED CLerk by 5th every month.
Please write your names when you post on the blog it is no harm.
We are only getting suggestion.
I will inform the clerk regarding the Weekend Locum cards to stop to issues at 1,45pm.
