Dear Doctors,

There are some changes in the roster for the month of May. We have decided to put 3 doctors everyday due to increase cases of Brucellosis. Only on weekdays the 3rd MO will come in from 7pm till 10pm. Please read the Brucellosis screening protocol which is available in the OPD Locum clinic.

Please take proper history especially consumption of fresh goat's milk and do the relevant investigations. All Bld C&S MUST BE DONE by MO's and not by the SN/PPP. Dont forget that dengue is still our major problem.

Your co-operation is much appreciated.

Thank you.

Dr Elizabeth,

So for June locum, do we request for 2 slots each or 3 since there have been increased in locum slots due to 3 MO a day??

Dear Doctors,

Please request for 2 slots ONLY.
The 3rd slot I will insert latter. I have to give to those who didnt get their extra slots for June. But we must also study the workload of the locum. The working time of the 3 person might change.
We will do our best. My only request from all of you, is to do a proper and sincere work. Thank you for all your cooperation.

TQ

Dr Elizabeth,

There have been cases where unstable patients (eg tachypnoeic patients with spo2 88%,patients with MI)who went to A+E and at the triage counter was asked to go to OPD.Upon reaching OPD,family members were quite furious as these patients were not in good condition to walk so far and this had worsen their condition. This had happened numerous times.

It is hoped that this matter will be looked into.

Thank you.

how about 3rd mo working on weekends? what time they shud come in?
i agree that lots of cases which are supposed to be seen in casualty are sent to opd. i myself had encountered few of these eg acute coronary event& impending stroke.patients are sent to 001 straight away from casualty without proper assessment at casualty triage
pls do something!!
